Groomsport In Bloom. As Groomsport is hoping to enter Village in Bloom next year there will be a public information day on Saturday 27th September in the Walter Nelson Hall 10.30 am to 12 noon. Why not come along, bring a friend and see some suggestions for planting trees, shrubs and flowers in and around the village? Have some free refreshments and add your own comments and ideas. If you have any suggestions as to areas in need of upgrading or choices of plants etc. please e-mail Pearl Brown at brownpearl1944@aol.com before the 27th Sept. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

There will be a Meeting in Public of the District Policing Partnership in The Boat House in Groomsport. (There could be a last minute change of venue to a larger hall so check back) Be reminded that it is a Meeting in Public and not a Public Meeting. The DPP will be conducting its business and the people of Groomsport are invited along to witness this meeting. There is an opportunity to ask questions by submitting a question in writing 9 days before the meeting. This is in order to ensure that the questions will be answered on the night. The meeting will start at 7:30 P.M.
